About Me

I am a 25 year old born and raised Guernsey local. My family has a background in public service, with my parents having both spent the vast majority of their careers working in the local health service.
I studied at St Sampson’s High School, where I was proud to be elected by my peers as Head Boy. In the role, I led a campaign to highlight the unequal and unfair media coverage received by State school students, compared to the Grammar school and colleges.
I went on to study at the Grammar Sixth Form, during which I co-founded the first youth-led local climate change pressure group ‘Future Generations’.
I left Guernsey to study law at the University of Sussex. I was then awarded the ‘Sir Thomas More’ scholarship from the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn, which enabled me to train as a barrister in the north of England.
Following my studies - I worked as a County Court advocate – which allowed me to practise in housing law, landlord & tenant law, personal injury and a range of other areas.
I was fortunate enough to then become legal assistant to a leading London barrister. A role in which I acted as a legal advisor, engaged in business development and liaised with a wider team of 12 barristers.

I returned to Guernsey with the benefit of a broader perspective, professional qualifications and a renewed appreciation of how unique Guernsey truly is.
I very happily live with my partner of eight years, Chloe, who also grew up in Guernsey – and our dog/’adopted child’ Charlie!
It’s a cliché - but we really are incredibly lucky to call Guernsey our home. I am running to help make Guernsey a place where all of our young people and families have the opportunity to build their futures.
